.:: Insurance

Comprehensive insurance is a vital component of any export or import freight movement and failure to adequately insure your consignments could lead to unrecoverable financial losses.

You should not assume that your carrier/s have insurance over your goods. Firstly they cannot do so through not having an interest in the goods and insurances held by the carrier to cover their own risk may or may not cover the full cost in the event of loss and/or damage where all carrier/s have terms & clauses that restrict  their liability.

For instance Airline liability is limited to US$20.00 per kilogram and road carriers liabilty restricted to NZD1500.00 per piece.

Full outbound and inbound marine cargo insurance cover is available either through ourselves or your nominated insurers. Cover can be taken out against each shipment as it is initiated or through taking out an annual open cover policy. You should discuss options with you insurance broker.

If you would like to discuss Marine Cargo Insurance directly please contact us at email -  camchc@camseair.co.nz  or call your insurance broker.
